Information We Collect

Information You Provide

When you create an account or interact with Puzzle Eclipse, we may collect:

• Account Information: Your email address and user ID. If you sign in with Apple and choose "Hide My Email," we receive and store Apple's private relay email address instead of your personal email address. If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account email address. We may also collect a username or display name if you choose to set one.
• Profile Data: Optional profile customizations such as an avatar or other profile details you choose to add.
• Communications: Any messages or feedback you send to us through in-app support or email.

Information Collected Automatically

When you use Puzzle Eclipse, we automatically collect certain information to improve the app experience:

• Usage Analytics: Game activity and performance (puzzles played, scores, streaks, completion times), feature usage, and progression data such as Orbits, Lumens, ranks, and trophies.
• Device Information: Device type, operating system version, app version, and other device identifiers necessary for app functionality and troubleshooting.
• Log Data: Access times and diagnostic logs necessary to help us diagnose issues and improve performance.

Advertising Data (Google AdMob)

We use Google AdMob to show in-game ads. AdMob may collect or receive information such as:

• Advertising identifiers (for example, Android Advertising ID. On iOS, we do not request Apple's tracking permission prompt, and we do not use IDFA for tracking).
• Approximate location (derived from IP address), ad interaction data (such as ad impressions and clicks), and diagnostics.

This information is used to provide, measure, and improve ads. Where required by law (such as in the EEA and the UK), we request consent for personalized advertising using an industry-standard consent flow. In those regions, if you do not consent to personalized ads, we request non-personalized ads.

Subscriptions and Purchases (RevenueCat)

We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and entitlements (such as Remove Ads). RevenueCat may process purchase and subscription status information from Apple or Google so we can grant access to paid features. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Puzzle Eclipse app and its features.
• Create and manage your account, including leaderboards, ranks, streaks, and trophies.
• Track and display your game progress, Orbits, and Lumens balance.
• Analyze app usage to improve game design, fix bugs, and develop new features.
• Communicate with you about updates, changes, or support inquiries.
• Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, or abuse.
• Show ads in the app and measure ad performance.
• Manage subscriptions and entitlements, including Remove Ads.

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share information only in these limited circumstances:

• Public Game Data: Leaderboards are only displayed inside the app and require an account. Your username or display name and/or avatar, rank, Orbit count, streak length, and trophies may be visible to other players on leaderboards and in other in-app social displays. Your email address and user ID are not shown publicly.
• Service Providers: We use third-party services to operate the app and deliver ads, including:
  • Firebase (Google) for authentication, storing user accounts, and saving game stats and performance data.
  • Google AdMob for in-game advertising.
  • RevenueCat for subscription and entitlement management.
  These providers process data on our behalf under their terms and privacy policies.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information when required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Brilliantly Goofy LLC, our users, or the public.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable timeframe, except where we are legally required to retain it.

Account Deletion

You can delete your Puzzle Eclipse account using the in-app account deletion option. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize personal information stored in Firebase within a reasonable timeframe. Removing your account will also remove or de-identify gameplay progress and stats associated with that account.

Certain purchase and subscription records may remain with Apple or Google as part of their records, but we will remove your account linkage on our side.

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

Puzzle Eclipse is intended for users ages 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us at support@brilliantlygoofy.com and we will promptly delete such information.

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data, including:

• Access & Portability: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate personal data.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data or account.
• Opt-Out: Opt out of non-essential communications from us.
