Yes! Puzzle Eclipse is completely free to download and play. You can enjoy all the daily puzzles, build streaks, and compete on leaderboards without ever spending a cent. Lumens (the in-game currency) can be earned through gameplay. Purchasing Lumens is entirely optional.
Lumens are Puzzle Eclipse's in-game currency. You earn them by completing daily puzzles, maintaining streaks, and winning games. Lumens can be used for hints or to extend some games. If you play regularly, you'll naturally accumulate more than enough Lumens to use hints when you may need them.
Orbits are your progression points. Think of them as your "puzzle XP" that can never be spent. You earn Orbits by playing games and staying consistent. They contribute to your rank (like Lunar Technician, Zero-G Engineer, and beyond) and determine your position on the All-Time leaderboard.
Every day, Puzzle Eclipse offers a fresh set of four daily puzzles — including Daily Worbit, Daily Word Relay, Daily Word Search, and Daily Sudoku. These are the same puzzles for every player, creating a shared experience you can compare and discuss with friends. Completing dailies builds your streak and earns bonus rewards.
Win any game and your streak continues for that game and overall. The Leaderboard streak total displays the highest streaks from players of consecutive wins in any games with no losses. The more games you play and win, the more rewards you earn and the higher you climb on the Streaks leaderboard.
There are three leaderboard views: Today (who earned the most Orbits today), All-Time (total accumulated Orbits), and Streaks (highest achieved streaks). They're designed to reward different play styles — whether you're a daily grinder, a long-term veteran, or a consistency champion.
Trophies are special achievements you can unlock by hitting milestones — like completing an Ultra Mini Sudoku in under 10 seconds, or finishing a Mini Sudoku in under 60 seconds. Each trophy earns you bonus Lumens and Orbits. There are 39 trophies to collect that award thousands of Lumens and Orbits!
Puzzle Eclipse is rated for ages 13 and up. It's a family-friendly puzzle experience with no violent or inappropriate content. Just smart, satisfying games.
